Raising Awareness for Mens Health

Ochre Health Bruce ran a campaign during November to raise awareness for Mens health, in particular heart and diabetes prevention, testicular or prostate cancer, and anxiety and depression.The patient had a consultation with the nurse and then with the GP and was patient centred exploring risk factors and promoting health.
Many of the patients that came for the checks did not have did not have a regular GP and reached a group of people who often do not seek help.
It was promoted by linking it with Movember and social medial was also used. The commonest reason cited by those men attend was that their partners encouraged them to do so!
