Ochre Health started in Bourke NSW as a company focused on providing workforce solutions to surrounding remote towns and on March 27th the company celebrated its 13th Birthday. While some of the communities we are serving are a little bigger than they were back in 2002, our focus on sustainable workforce and excellence in healthcare remains the same.
Just in time for our birthday we have had another growth spurt with the addition of some new centres to the Ochre network. I would like to welcome the staff and doctors of our new sites in Hervey Bay Qld, Bathurst NSW, Lithgow NSW and Casey ACT as well as our new GPs and staff across our existing sites.
You would have all received a save the date for our Ochre Family weekend which will be held a little later this year in November. The weekend will be held at the Fairmont Resort in Leura, NSW. For those of you travelling though Dubbo on your way we will be hosting a new event called the Dubbo Roundup on the evening of Thursday November 5th and you will have the option to leave your car behind. I look forward to a record turn out this year.
